A Ghanaian Music Star Stranded In Lilongwe.

A Ghanaian musician star who came to Malawi in december to perform on the eve of new year got stranded in Lilongwe due to lack of his payments that he was supposed to get  after the show.

Jay Thomson 29, whose music topped some of the UK & Ghana radio charts was brought into the country by popular Lilongwe based DJ Scarpper who later on failed to pay the Ghanaian a speculated sum of $400 per show as he was expected to perform in several places in Lilongwe. According undisclosed source, the shows flopped due to disorganisation that led to very poor patronage.

Later on, on tesuday 7 January 2014, DJ Scarpper posted a picture of him & Jay Thomson shaking hands on his facebook account Malawiz Djscarpper with a caption qouted: "Jaytomson and Scarpper are brother's from another mother, KULOWELERA kutaya TIME. We solve issues like BROTHER'S MANYAZI BWAAAAA nonse munalemba zabodza komanso kulowelera??? Shame on YOU Voice".

But as of today it has been heard that Jay Thomson will be leaving the country after Leston Mulli, Mulli Brothers Limited Managing Director acted good Samaritan by bailing out the musician.

In the picture is Jay Thomson (in blue T-shirt) & DJ Scarpper. The photo that Scarpper posted on his facebook account claiming all is well with Jay Thomson.
